February 2010 — RPM's Carboline Company Acquires Technology from Reactamine.

October 2008 — Tamara Simmons joins Reactamine as Q.C. Chemist. She has a B.S in Biology/Minor in Chemistry from Brewton-Parker College and a Masters in Biology from Georgia State University. Tamara's experience includes positions with Dow Chemical and Coca-Cola.

March 2008 — Howard Combs joins Reactamine as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He has a BS in Business Administration from Brigham Young University. Howard's career in coatings spans 31 years, 29 of which were with PPG where he held several Director level positions in sales and business development. He has experience in the US as well as internationally promoting both Protective and Architectural Coatings.

February 2008 — John Emadipour joins Reactamine as Senior Chemist. John has a BS in Chemistry from Brigham Young University and a Masters degree in Polymer Science & Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. His career spans 34 years wherein he has researched and formulated epoxies, urethanes, adhesives, sealants, foams, and advanced composites. Past experience includes employment with Dupont, HB Fuller, and Callaway Golf.

January 2008 — Protec 2000 clear top coat is commercialized. Protec 2000 is a two component 100% solids aliphatic polyurea coating system that is UV stable (colorfast) and is VOC free. Product characteristics include fast cure time, excellent adhesion, and chemical resistance over a broad temperature range.

December 2007 — Reactamine relocates from Conyers, Georgia to a new 35,000 sq. ft. office and manufacturing facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

October 2007 — Reactamine introduces a new 1.25# density, closed cell, water-blown foam insulation for residential and commercial use.

September 2006 — Reactamine's "Solid Surface Spray System" Decorative Coating product line is commercialized. The Decorative Coating line is a patented process of applying colored thermoset resin chips in a waterborne, polyurea carrier. The system, when applied, is UV stable, durable to pressure washing, and is weather, abrasion, and chemical resistant.
